The plan

Facts below come from Nexon’s official posts. Maps and level breakpoints are still needed, because Nexon has not published a leveling route.

1. Level 1 to first job. Every character starts as a Beginner on Maple Island. You fight your first monsters and do quests there before you travel to Victoria Island ¹. Maple Island has two small towns, Amherst and Southperry. A boat from Southperry takes you to Victoria Island, and Lith Harbor is where many new players arrive². First job opens at level 10¹. Maps and quests needed.

2. First job to Kerning Party Quest. Maps needed, with the level to move on and the reason.

3. Kerning Party Quest. The party quest is called First Time Together. Characters at level 21 and up can join. Talk to Lakelis in Kerning City to start. Your party solves puzzles, fights monsters, and faces King Slime ¹. Since October 8, 2026, it runs only on channels 3, 4, 5, and 6 ¹. Party size and stage notes are needed. The release notes do not give them. Confirm them in game before writing them down. Do not assume they match original MapleStory.

4. After the party quest, up to 30. Second job opens at level 30 ¹. Maps needed.
